Gerald Grow is a

professor in the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, where he teaches courses on magazines. He is the author of a number of articles in magazines and academic journals, a popular book on camping in Florida, a grammar website, and he is an internationally unrecognized cartoonist. In an earlier life, he graduated from Harvard and earned a PhD in English from Yale.
